Are you ready for Fall? I’m ready for the pumpkin spice latte’s, but not quite ready to put away my sundresses and shorts. Transitioning wardrobe from Summer to Fall can be challenging because weather is unpredictable this time of year, especially in North Carolina where mornings can be chilly, and afternoons can be warm. I’m here to share some Summer to Fall outfit tips to get you through this seasonal shift with ease.

Co-ORDinate: Try Co-ords & Matching sets. I’m personally loving cute sweater co-ords for this Fall. The look that I am wearing can styled as a set, or mixed and matched. You can wear the sweater with a cute pair of jeans for a casual look, or style the skirt with a blouse for a feminine and sophisticated vibe. During seasonal transitions, I love soft colors like this pink, nude, grey, tan, and even white ( forget the post labor day rules)! See my favorite sweater co-ord sets below.
2. Layer with a mid-length jacket: It’s too soon to break out the fur and wool coats, so transition with a lightweight mid-length jacket as a layering piece. In Fall, you want to layer with jackets that you can take off as needed. For Fall, I love moto jackets, bomber jackets, jean jackets and leather jackets. See my favorite layering jackets below.
3. Lightweight Sweaters with Feminine Details: In the Fall, I love lightweight sweaters that have cut out details, ruffled sleeves or feminine detailing. This is a great way to transition into wearing warmer garments without losing your sense of style.
4. Throw on a Hat: Add a Fedora or Brim hat to your look at it will instantly look Fall ready! I love a classic black hat, but I’m also loving the stylish navy, tan and grey Fall options available now in stores. Shop my hats selections below.
5. Throw on some Boots: Trade in those sandals for boots when your styling your favorite jeans, leggings or dresses. My personal favorites are ankle booties and combats boots for Fall transition. Shop my favorite boots below.
