I accepted the Pantene 14 Day Challenge and tried out their Pantene Gold Series Collection for 14 days. I used their products on my natural 4C hair, and I wanted to share my results with you!
Day 1: Challenge Accepted
Why I accepted the #Pantene14Daychallenge
Many of you know that this year, I decided to stop using relaxers, and transition to natural hair. Throughout my transition, I’ve worn mostly protective styles such as braids and wigs because I’ve been focusing on keeping heat off my hairso it can grow to a strong and healthy state. I’ve also been wearing protective styles because honestly, I have not had the confidence to wear my natural hair out because the products that I used in the past left my hair dry and puffy which did not leave me feeling confident. I knew I had to get a great haircare routine in place to avoid being out in these streets with a bad hair day. When Pantene suggested I take on their Pantene 14 Day Challenge, I was completely up for it! For 14 days, I’ve used the Pantene Gold Series Shampoo and Conditioner, and I am so excited to share my results with you.
Products Used During The 14 Day Challenge:
Day 7: Curls Poppin
On Day 7 of my Pantene 14 Day Challenge, I used Pantene Gold Series Shampoo, Conditionerand curl defining pudding which had my curls poppin! The products had me rocking my curly twist out with full confidence because I had such great hair day. Day 7 was the midway point of the challenge, and I had already started to notice easier wash days. When I washed my hair, it was so easy to detangle and comb through. When using the curl defining pudding, I found the consistency to be very silky & lightweight which was great for setting my twist-out-curlrod set. Little product was needed to achieve my curl definition with medium hold.
Day 14: Blow Out Shining
After 14 Days of usage, I can truly say my hair on wash days have become way more manageable. On Day 14, I tried blowing out my natural hair, and the Gold Series left my hair easy to detangle, and with a soft, natural shine. For this style, I used the Shampoo & Conditioner, but not the curly custard since my style was straight.
During the challenge, I washed my hair 3 times with the products. I would definitely recommend using the Pantene Gold Series Collection if you are looking for moisture and softer, more manageable hair. The price point is great, and the products can be found at most drugstores and major retailers, so I’d recommend giving it a try for 14 days to see how your hair responds. I’m sure, you’ll be saying goodbye to bad hair days and hello to soft, manageable hair!
Will you try the Pantene 14-day challenge?
