Chapter 34 | It’s My Birthday!

Now I truly know what it means when people say that they don’t feel their age! In my mind, I feel 21, but my birth certificate says otherwise lol. I’m officially beginning my 34th chapter of life, and I’m super excited for all of the new experiences that this year will bring!

Professionally, I’m about to embark on a new dream endeavor which ironically kicks off right after my birthday. On March 1st, I start a new corporate role at Facebook in Employee Relations. I started my professional career in HR way back in 2006 with an HR internship at Target, and since, I’ve worked in HR leadership in retail, banking and telecommunications, so to now be a corporate HR in tech/social media is Majorrrr. I’m excited to explore this new career endeavor in Chapter 34.

As an Entrepreneur, Influencer and Podcaster, I’m very proud of how far I’ve come. Over the years, I’ve evolved from owning an E-boutique to now becoming the founder of Ignite Your Influence and Club lgnite. Personally I have goals to make this my best business year yet, and I know the best is yet to come.

In my personal life, I’m happy and at a complete place of peace! Honestly I’ve never felt more confident, and in my groove. I feel like I know myself better, and I’m only saying yes to things that align with my purpose that give me joy. In my 20’s, I was a people pleaser, but not in my 30’s.

While in quarantine, I’ve also found comfort in being still and enjoying more quality time with George. I have more time to mediate, journal, workout, cook, and do things for me versus just being busy and on the go. I’ve prioritized counseling, prayer, and peace and that is definitely something that I will continue in year 34.

For year 34, I am manifesting health, joy, wealth, peace and blessings, and of course, I’ll be taking you along the journey with me!!!
