Every girl loves a classic red lipstick. It’s the universal color that just looks good on everyone. They challenge is finding the perfect red with the perfect formula because there are so many brands to choose from. Makeup Forever gifted me a beautiful red lipstick ( color C404/Passion Red ) from their new artist rouge collection. I fell in love with the Makeup Forever brand way back in 2012 when I was a store manager for Sephora. I would spend most of my paycheck on their HD foundation and lip products. I have always respected Makeup Forever’s artistry focus, color range and quality, and like always, their new lip collection did not dissapoint.
I wore this lipstick over the weekend, and I got so many compliments. The lipstick has a creamy formula with a bold, shiny finish. It was long lasting and stayed on all day even between meals requiring very little touch up. The formula was also very moisturizing because of its macadamia nut and mallow oil ingredients. The lipstick design features a pointy tip which makes for an evenly lined application.
The artist rouge collection features 45 gorgeous shades (31 creams and 14 mattes), which covers a full range of nudes, reds, pinks, berry and a selection of artistic shades like blues, pastels shades, and darks. If you love a good red lip, it’s definitely worth a try.
