Like many of you, I’ve been quarantined indoors since March, so I’m constantly looking for ways to get out and get into nature since it’s one of the few things that we can do safely. I just discovered the McGill Rose Garden, and its a scenic place of escape, and one of Charlotte’s best kept secrets. It’s nestled just outside of uptown and on the edge of the Noda Arts District, which is only about 5 minutes from where I live, and I didn’t know it even know that this place existed until recently. If you are a in the Queen City and looking for a quiet place that’s free and open to the public during the week, you’ll love this rose garden.
