Have you started your Fall shopping yet?
Fall is right around the corner, (September 23rd to be exact) and although it still feels hot outside, it’s time to start planning your wardrobe transition to prepare for the weather change ahead. Transitioning from Summer to Fall can seem daunting, but I’m here to suggest some simple tips to make your Fall Fashion transition a breeze.
-
Wear Neutral Colors: I love wearing neutrals colors like white, cream, tan, & black which are classic shades and seasonally appropriate all year long.
-
Wear Separates: Wear pieces like co-ords, sweater sets and suited separates that allow you to mix and match pieces. My outfit is a 2 piece sweater set, and although I rocked the complete set, it can be easily styled as separates.
-
Throw on a Jacket: You can style many of your Summer maxi dresses, slip dresses and skirts with a denim jackets or biker jacket to add a layer and instantly transition the look from Summer to Fall.
-
Closed Toe Shoes: It’s time to put away those flip flops and bring out the closed toe shoes. Style your looks with booties, pumps, sneakers or mules. Adding closed toe shoes, especially boots to any look will give it more of an autumn feel.
-
Wrap Around a Scarf: Layering a look with a scarf is a stylish accessory that adds in a Fall element. If you get cold, it adds warmth. If you get too hot, it can also be easily removed.

I absolutely loved this look and how you styled it! Who says white doesn’t look good after Labor day? Thanks for sharing!
