We’re expecting our rainbow baby and we are SOOOOOO EXCITED! Our Baby is expected to arrive in January 2022 and we literally can’t wait!!! This pregnancy has truly given me so much joy after a stormy season. George and I experienced a missed miscarriage in 2020. If you missed that story, I share all of the details in this Youtube video, and it was devastating for us, but after tears, time and prayers, we are so excited to enter this new season of expectancy and joy this year!
After experiencing a loss in the first trimester with my first pregnancy, I’m not gonna lie…there was some anxiety and fear that crept in with this second pregnancy. In the back of my mind, I was hesitant to get excited fearful that we could experience loss again, but with the health of counseling and prayer, I overcame those feelings. I don’t feel like I really allowed myself to get fully excited until we passed the 12 week milestone. At that point, I exhaled and gave myself permission to have faith & hope for the weeks ahead.
This pregnancy has been such a blessing, and the baby has been so kind to my body. I’ve honestly had no issues with nausea which is what I was most scared about, and my only constant symptom has been fatigue. So far, all of our doctors appointments have given us signal that this baby is healthy, and each week that passes, we just thank God!
This week marks my 20th week of pregnancy which means we are halfway to the 40 week mark. I am so excited about sharing more of this pregnancy journey with you. I promise to share vlogs, pregnancy stories, maternity fashion, plus so much more in the weeks ahead. Thank you for joining me on this journey. In my downtime, I’ve been working hard to build my first baby registry. Who knew that babies needed much stuff!!! If you want to check out my registry, I’ve included the link to it below. Since this will be our first child, my registry is loaded because we are starting from scratch (lol) so all gifts are welcomed.
